Programs and Events

To foster relationships between mentors and mentees, and within family clusters, as well as encourage development of leadership skills, Peer Advisors and Mentors organize a variety of programs and activities throughout the academic year.

Social events, such as an annual barbecue, bring all PAM participants together throughout the year, while family cluster activities, such as movie nights and group dinners, allow students to bond in an informal setting. Community service projects give students an opportunity to engage with the Richmond city, particularly with the PAM’s partner organization, the local Boys and Girls Club.

For students who wish to explore leadership development on a deeper level and learn skills that add to their role as mentors and mentees, PAM offers financial assistance for attending leadership conferences.
